Hey There!

A little bit about me.

My name is Alexis, and I’m an adolescent therapist with a passion for working with teens. I’ve spent my entire career supporting teens, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know and learning from each individual I work with. When I’m not in a therapy session, you might find me playing or coaching basketball, watching funny TV shows and movies, hiking with my dog, Indiana (who you might even get to meet in therapy), skiing, or traveling to new places.

Why try out therapy?

I get it — therapy might not sound as exciting as hanging out with friends, sleeping in, playing video games, or just chilling on the couch. And yes, therapy can be challenging at times. But here’s the thing: it can also be incredibly life-changing. Facing and understanding your emotions can be hard, but it’s a powerful step towards living a positive and more fulfilling life. It takes real strength to look inward and make positive changes, and I’m here to support you through that process.

What will we do in therapy?

I know that starting therapy can feel a bit overwhelming and that’s totally okay. The great news is that you’re in control — you set the pace, and we’ll move forward at a speed that feels right for you. Whether you want to jump right in or take things slow, I’m here to make sure you feel safe every step of the way.

One of the most important parts of therapy is building a strong, trusting relationship between us. I want to have plenty of time to get to know each other and for you to feel secure before we dive into anything difficult. I’ll never push you to talk about anything you’re not ready to discuss, and we’ll always make sure that you feel safe and respected.

My goal is to create a space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings in a way that feels right for you. If you’re ready to give therapy a try or if you have any questions, feel free to reach out. I’m here to support you on this journey, and I look forward to working together!
